    Pentatonix's 7 Best Mashups

From a Daft Punk medley to a mixture of Gregorian chants and Rihanna, here are the famous a cappella group's mixes you have to hear to believe

While you might not hear a cappella acts all over the radio, Pentatonix is proving that the genre can compete at the top of the charts. The vocal quintet's last EP, PTX, Vol. II, hit No. 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and their holiday single, "Little Drummer Boy," hit No. 13 on the Hot 100 singles chart. Yeah, these guys are doing just as good (if not better) than some pop stars nowadays.

Earlier this week, the Season 3 champions of The Sing-Off dropped their PTX, Vol. III EP. While we're expecting it to do well on the charts, we're particularly fond of a new mashup the group recorded that mixes two incredible Sam Smith tracks. (Click the arrow below to go to the next slide and hear it!)

The song inspired us to listen to all of PTX's mashups and pick the best ones. We've limited ourselves to seven spectacular mixes that see the act blending everything from classic boy band tunes to today's synthiest EDM tracks.
