The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Go To "Hell" On New Song
Last month, we told you the beloved New York City-based indiepop band with the impossibly long name, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, has returned with a romantic cover of Manchurian band James' "Laid." The tune comes from an upcoming three-track EP Hell, and today the band has shared the title track.
Unlike "Laid," the song is entirely sung by frontman Kip Berman. It sounds sweet and hazy, but a closer listen reveals a despondent non-future.
