Låpsley Gives up on Hope For New 'Cliff' Track: Listen

The British singer-songwriter releases another gem ahead of her debut LP

Rising artist Låpsley is gearing up for the release of her debut album this week, and she has now shared a new track of the project simply titled "Cliff."

The artist, whose real name is Holly Fletcher, goes through modes of despair in the downtempo track as she musters a tale of a spiraling relationship over a simplistic yet pounding electronic production. “I walk close to the edge with this boy without a name/ I try to save him,” Låpsley sings, sinking deep into despair and heartache—something that we surely can all relate to.

The British singer-songwriter describes "Cliff" in a press release as “a metaphor which represents the feeling of distance between two people and the gradual self destruction of an individual in a relationship.” Look out for her debut album, Long Way Home, on March 4 via XL Recordings.
