A Day in the Life of Heavy Metal Party Animals Steel Panther

The crazy L.A. quartet show Fuse around downtown Hollywood

In the latest episode of Fuse Follows, metalheads Stix Zadinia, Satchel, Michael Starr and Lexxi Foxx of Steel Panther let us follow them around their native Hollywood as they hold a press conference and acoustic performance before partying the night away.

The guys start their day at the Hustler Store. They're greeted by dozens of fans, press people and scantily clad employees, the latter of whom join the band on stage. "I just wanna say right now, before we f**king do anything," guitarist Satchel warns, "If you f**k one of these girls back here, make sure you wear a condom... because we didn't."

The band is known for their harmlessly vulgar breed of comedy, and it's something that comes naturally to them. When a journalist from Rock Review mistakes their sophomore album Balls Out for Balls of Fire, they run with the joke. Satchel remarking, "Yeah, Balls of Fire was a huge success for us... for Jerry Lee Lewis! Don't forget Feel the Steel Balls of Fire. That was a great record, too."

Steel Panther perform both "Party Like Tomorrow Is the End of the World" and "The Burden of Being Wonderful" inside the store, but not before answering a burning question from Keith of Hustler Magazine. "Why does it hurt when I pee?" The answer? Chlamydia or Gonorrhea... but also Balls of Fire."

After that, the band heads down Sunset Strip, running into an old bouncer before parking at Rainbow for their afterparty. The owner of the club jokes that frontman Michael Starr never ages. The singer responds, "It's plastic surgery, man. Botox!"
