Kate Nash Shares Her Awards Show Mantra & Fears

In this latest episode of Fuse's digital series Backatcha, we take a stroll down memory lane with British pop musician Kate Nash, where she dishes on her very first single "Caroline Was a Victim," her love of rapper Eve and why her style has changed since her tween years.

Nash also reveals how nervous she was at her first BRIT Awards in 2008, where she was nominated for three and took home the award for "British Female Solo Artist." "They told me to prepare something to say if I did win," she recalls. "So I was genuinely shocked. I was like please don't fall over, please don't fall over."

Kate Nash's new album Girl Talk is out now. She's currently watching the World Cup and prepping for some gigs later this summer, including a show at this year's Lollapalooza.
