Robert Glasper Experiment, Common & Patrick Stump Empower in "I Stand Alone"

The 'Black Radio 2' track gets a visual that details the super trio at work in the studio

The Robert Glasper Experiment dropped a fire collaboration late last year, with Black Radio 2 featuring a killer lineup of musical conspirators including everyone from Norah Jones to Snoop Dogg

One of the standout tracks from the record is "I Stand Alone," which features a power trio rounded out by Glasper and his ensemble, Common and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump. The video for the smooth single just dropped, and it's just as compelling a visual as the track production that inspired it.

"I Stand Alone" sees the rapper, the rocker and the musical mad scientist washed in watercolor hues as they combine forces and get down to work in the studio. Lyrics lifted from Common's verses are splashed across billboards in various shots that cut to a cityscape (with Richard Pryor making a notable cameo). Sick breakdancers block traffic with their moves over the arching swells of Stump's vocal lines, and the camera follows Glasper as he combs through stacks of vinyl in a record store. It showcases each "I Stand Alone" artist in their element while proving that they very much so stand together when it comes to making incredible music.

Make sure to watch the clip all the way through as some famous faces (like Dave Chappelle!) make appearances and empowering sentiments.
