Camera Shy (Members of Nothing, Whirr) Premiere "Your Only One" Video

Feast on a tasty serving of jangly indie-pop

Featuring former Whirr bandmates Nick Bassett and Alexandra Morte, Camera Shy cook up delicious nuggets of indie-pop. The duo just released a music video for "Your Only One," the first song released from their forthcoming self-titled debut album. The clip uses archival Disney park footage to convey the track's sunny disposition.

Camera Shy is far-removed from Whirr's shoegaze approach, but it's refreshing to hear Morte's vocals over such a poppy setting.

Arriving in stores on July 14 via Run for Cover, Camera Shy was produced by Arthur Rizk, a musician who has also overseen albums by Power Trip and Inquisition. As busy as Camera Shy keeps them, Bassett is still a member of Whirr, and also handles bass duties in Nothing. He also played in Deafheaven for a brief spell in 2011. Last year Morte started Night School, a trio you should also check out.
