Fitz and the Tantrums are tour fiends. The band—with singers Michael Fitzpatrick and Noelle Scaggs at its core—is constantly on the road, so while they're having fun out on the run, sometimes there's a bit of writer's block when it comes to new material. Their self-titled third album is out on Friday, June 10, and when they stopped but the Fuse studios, they told us it was their most personal Fitz & the Tantrums LP yet, despite the struggle to get their ideas into a song.
Fitzpatrick and Scaggs went through the album for us, track by track, as we challenged them to describe each song with one word. Ultimately, they went way more in-depth (which was way more informative), but their one-word answers were pretty entertaining.
